The Faculty of Education at Al-Madinah International University Organizes a Workshop Entitled: “Designing Electronic Questionnaires and Analyzing Them Using SPSS”
As part of its continuous efforts to develop research skills and enhance technical competencies among faculty members and postgraduate students, and under the generous patronage of the Rector of the Al-Madinah International University, Datuk Dr. Saeed bin Nuwai’f Al-Raddadi Al-Hazmi, the Faculty of Education at Al-Madinah International University- Malaysia, in coordination with the University’s Training and Consultancy Center, organized a specialized workshop entitled: “Designing Electronic Questionnaires and Analyzing Them Using SPSS,” on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 6:00 PM Mecca time, via the Webex platform. The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Magdy Mahmoud, and it aimed to equip participants with the skills to create effective electronic questionnaires, extract opinions from study samples, and analyze them scientifically using advanced technical and statistical tools.
🎯 General Objective of the Workshop:
To enable trainees to design electronic questionnaires and effectively collect and analyze responses from study samples.
📌 Specific Objectives:
Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Use Google Forms to design electronic questionnaires.
- Adjust form settings to ensure data and information confidentiality.
- Distribute and share the questionnaire with the targeted study sample.
- Review participants’ responses and response counts accurately.
- Present descriptive statistics and visual charts generated by Google Forms.
- Convert responses into an Excel file in preparation for analysis using SPSS.

💬 Workshop Background:
This workshop is part of a series of training programs organized by the Faculty of Education aimed at developing the research and analytical skills of researchers. It also seeks to equip them with the necessary tools for constructing precise data collection instruments and performing statistical analysis in line with modern scientific research requirements.
