The Bachelor of Education in Teaching Arabic Language equips students with essential knowledge in Arabic linguistics, teaching methodologies, and educational philosophy. Programme Learning Outcomes
  1. PLO1. Analyze and develop an understanding of the structure, content, and methodology relating to student learning in Arabic language education program;
  2. PLO2. Function effectively in applying different philosophical underpinnings in Arabic language education and practical skills at different levels and in different educational settings;
  3. PLO3. Competently and innovatively promote the utilization of the knowledge of the Arabic language teaching profession and protocols of quality practices in educational settings as well as address sensitively, effectively and mindfully the multicultural contexts of learner diversity to foster learning and nurture the talents and potentialities of learners;
  4. PLO4. Meet the requirements of established professional teaching standards at all levels (schools, colleges, universities, and other learning organizations);
  5. PLO5. Apply knowledge of Islamic belief, communication skills, and, have the capacity to work collaboratively and independently to solve problems in different educational settings;
  6. PLO6. Demonstrate characteristics of professional leadership appropriate to the responsibility given;
  7. PLO7. Develop individual teaching processes including time management and organization skills;
  8. PLO8. Apply problem-solving and scientific skills as well as awareness of the role of research to inform their evolving in Arabic language education professional practice, through knowledge mastery and understanding;

  10. PLO10. Exhibit managerial and entrepreneurial skills as well as be responsive to the changing nature of education as an academic and professional discipline;

Entry Requirements
Online
  • A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any two (2) subjects or its equivalent; or
  • A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia(STAM) ; or
  • A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or its equivalent; or
  • Matriculation / Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or its equivalent; or
  • Passed Secondary School Examination / Shahadah Thanawiyah ‘Ammah or;
  • Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia.

 

* Additional requirement: A credit in Arabic language at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualifications.

 

APEL.A Entry

Possess an APEL.A certificate from MQA for admission into Bachelor programmes.
